PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Payment may be made via cheques, made payable to “FRANKEL TUTORS PTE LTD”. We do not accept cash payments.
- Payment may also be made (preferably) via online payments.
AOneSchool app, which parents are advised to download onto their mobile phones (android & iPhone). Invoices, receipts, student attendance and calendar can be seen on this app. Exact payment – No risk of typing mistakes when paying through this app with the immediate generation of receipt after successful payment.- Internet banking (DBS Current A/C 017-904482-0)
- PayNow (UEN 201432242G). You may scan the SGQR code below for PayNow.
- For online payment not using AOneSchool app, please enter the invoice number in the Remarks or Reference section.
- Please inform us via WhatsApp on +65-94870332 (preferably with a screenshot) when you have made payment.
BILLING AND PRO-RATING
- Fees shall be billed by one week before the new term begins, due before the term begins.
- Payment beyond the due date stated on the invoice would incur a late payment fee of $10.
- Payment by the term is NOT refundable. Students should finish the term if they want to withdraw. There will be no refund of the remaining lessons should the student withdraw before the term ends.
- Fees may be pro-rated by the number of actual weeks that month for new registrations and for lesson days affected by public holidays.
STUDENT REGISTRATION POLICY
- There will be no deposit collected.
- A $50 Registration Fee is payable upon registration for regular tuition classes. This is non-refundable and paid once per student, regardless of the number of subjects registered for. Students who have deregistered previously and wish to join again would have to pay the registration fee again.
- Students absent for more than 1 month without reason would be deregistered and have to re-register and pay the Registration Fee again.
- Past deposits (if any) will be forfeited if not applied for and claimed within 3 months of natural completion. For students enrolled from 2022 onwards, no deposit will be collected.
- Students are to complete the term registered. There is no refund for not completing the term (i.e. quitting before the term ends.)
- The centre (online) shall be closed and classes shall not be conducted on all government-gazetted public holidays and during centre recesses as stipulated in the school calendar.
- There would be no additional classes rescheduled for classes affected by public holidays and centre recesses as stipulated in the school calendar.
- The centre (online) keeps open the possibility of teachers scheduling classes if the students need them, especially close to major exams, as determined by teachers.
- Students who are absent from classes would still be given the notes for the class missed.
- If the schedule permits, our full-time teachers may arrange for short consults of about 15-30 minutes for these students. Short consults may not be possible for adjunct teachers. Each student may use up to 1 consult per term.
- For online and hybrid classes, Frankel Tutors may arrange for the video recording of the lesson missed to be viewed.
- For lessons missed due to teacher absence, a make-up shall be scheduled, or a pro-rated lesson discount for the next bill given to students who are unable to attend the make-up class.
- Classes should be conducted in the scheduled slot. The teacher reserves the right to reschedule the classes as needed by the class. However, rescheduling classes causes inconvenience to both teachers and students and should be kept to a minimum.
- Students who request rescheduling should arrange with the respective teachers of their classes.
- Students who are absent should call/ WhatsApp the centre at 94870332 to avoid unnecessary alarms.
- Students who missed class may request a recording of the missed lesson, if available. They would be given a copy of the notes and worksheets, downloadable from the material shared drive, or they may request from the teacher directly.
- Students absent for more than a month without reason would be deregistered and have to re-register, and pay the Registration Fee and Deposit again if they wish to rejoin the class.
- In the event an entire class requests additional lessons due to upcoming examinations or remediation activities, lessons may be pulled forward from subsequent months. Monthly fees for the months from which the lessons are pulled still apply. Frankel Tutors may also add additional classes at pro-rated fees.
- Where a student requests for an additional, remunerated one-to-one consultation session with a teacher, a class fee for one-to-one rates would be levied. This can be arranged subject to teacher and classroom availability and centre approval.
- All media, class notes and printed materials are intellectual properties of Frankel Tutors. Students are not to share, disperse, amend or sell any media, class notes, or any printed materials in any way.
- Frankel Tutors reserves all rights to take legal actions for such breach of intellectual property.
- As an administrative policy, tuition fees are non-refundable as classes incur losses when students fail to attend.
- Original receipts are to be shown for refunds of any deposits.
- Deposits and refunds unclaimed within 3 calendar months of the student’s last recorded attendance shall be forfeited.
PDPA, IMAGES AND VIDEO
- Personal data collected will be handled to ensure student and parent/guardian privacy in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), 2012.
- Information gathered will be used to communicate service-related messages (e.g. fee payment reminders, class timing notices), feedback on student performance and information regarding programmes of interest.
- Personal data will not be shared with external, or unrelated, third-parties without prior permission sought directly from the parent or legal guardian.
- Images and videos may be taken in order to provide value-added services like video reviews of lessons for students who missed classes.
- For group pictures where 2 or more students or parents appear, express permission for marketing purposes is considered given if taken during an activity or lesson, whether on centre premises, activity premises or online.
- For images where the student or parent appears alone or with a teacher, permission shall be sought in advance from parents/guardians (the centre shall not use these images if permission has been denied).
